Hey Y'all!

My name is Emily Dye -- I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. Growing up I had a passion to be in the spotlight, especially if it meant replicating Julie Andrews in The Sound of Music . After fostering my love for performing in Dallas, I moved to Myrtle Beach to obtain a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre with a Minor in Women and Gender Studies from Coastal Carolina University where I graduated in May of 2021. In college, I enjoyed the opportunity to play a variety of different roles ranging from Anne in A Little Night Music to Sofia in the recent Pulitzer Prize finalist drama, Dance Nation. After relocating back to Dallas, I worked professionally in the regional DFW theatre scene. My work in Dallas ranged from Marian the Librarian in the The Music Man, A Gentlemen's Guide to Love and Murder, tap dancing in Anything Goes, The Producers and many more!

I made the move to New York City in fall of 2024 where I continue to pursue my theatre goals.
